Mini Creative Assessment
Do you find yourself in relationships that drain you and you do not know why?
Are you constantly finding yourself attracted to a particular type of person who discounts or denies your way of operating?
Do you find yourself trying to communicate with people who simply cannot understand you? Do you choose partners who baffle you with the decisions they make?
The answers to these questions are what our work is all about. We want you to validate your own way of operating so you can distinguish it from the differences and similarities you have with others.
A Mini Creative Assessment is an introduction to creative patterns that relate to you and the people with whom you interact. It is useful in romantic relationships, family interactions, and can even be used to explain differences in business teams. Individuals with similar Compatibility Factors are typically your friends, while individuals who have differences create an unknown element where we are not sure how to engage or relate to them. The Mini Creative Assessment contains seven of the fifteen basic compatibility factors that are most important in conscious relationships. If you want to download a sixteen-page PDF document about these factors, simply submit your email below.
A Mini Creative Assessment not only indicates how you operate relative to others, it also tells you why certain kinds of differences are more difficult to engage than others. For example, pacing is the ability to recognize the difference between people who cycle their thinking quickly and those who need time to put their experiences into place. Each has its own limitations as well as strengths. It is measured on a scale of zero to one hundred, with fifty being the mid-point. Any time there is more than a fifteen-point difference between individuals, it creates frustration for the faster paced individual and exhaustion for the slower paced individual over time. Being able to identify this factor and the impact it is having on you allows you to plan around it. That means you can maximize the benefit of interacting with a person, while minimizing the problems it could cause.
Communication Process is one of the core differences that causes problems when we have different ways of processing and communicating our experience. Everyone thinks, feels and acts, but we all do it in our own unique sequence. This means that we have different priorities and ways of connecting with others. It also means that if a person we are talking to has a different sequence or is repressed in our primary way of communicating, there will be major obstacles for the communication to be received. Being able to identify what works allows us to talk in a way they are more likely to understand. We grow in our capacity to engage Intent, Content and Context, which are important in the communication of possibilities. Until we can synthesize these three, we are at the effect of the communications we have. We discover how a partner meeting us in our own sequence naturally facilitates easy communication.
Decision Making Approach is the way we approach problem solving. Some individuals take a problem, break it down and attempt to sequence it immediately so that they can have a plan. We call these individuals Convergent because they minimize the up front options so that they can incrementally improve the process over time. Other individuals seek to explore all the options and then spontaneously step into a solution when it feels complete and ready. We call these individuals Divergent because they take greater time in pulling the trigger, but make up for this delay by getting more done in less time because they have carefully mapped out all the contingencies. Since we are all combinations of Convergent and Divergent in different areas of our life, decision-making can be determined by what we are most comfortable with in each situation.
Identifying our Creative Expression by one of seven options on three levels helps us to define not just who we are but where we are going. Creative Expressions help us to recognize there is a perfect way for us to be ourselves. It also establishes the possibility that when others connect with us, they can deal with us on our terms and not necessarily theirs. Most importantly, it clarifies how we have made ourselves feel safe, what we are doing to promote ourselves and what would actually fulfill us. There are 343 unique combinations since there are seven options on three levels. This provides us with a starting place of understanding our evolution, recognizing that our parental imprinting could be sabotaging our development. While we only provide the Imprinting factors in the full Creative Assessment, the degree to which you identify yourself with the options suggested usually reflects how much Imprinting you are carrying. We can see how choosing friends based on familiarity has not only attracted people with the same three expressions, but also resulted in attracting partners who reflect our parental Creative Expressions. Another indicator of how certain patterns provide us comfort is when we try to fit into organizations, as they can also reflect our parental issues. Most individuals have no more than five out of 343 combinations they feel comfortable with.
Defense Style differences are how we have learned to protect ourselves. They reflect our environment, our parental interactions and our upbringing. For some people, Defenses reflect their story about who they are and the obstacles they have had to overcome. While Defenses are necessary because we live in a Defensive world, they do not reflect who we authentically are. Since it is easy to identify with our Defenses, we become stuck in predetermined patterns of interaction that enhance our apparent strengths and minimize our apparent weaknesses. By identifying with our Defense, we also end up choosing partners with opposite Defense styles as a way to increase our sense of security. This maximizes the power of the Defense over our Creative Expression, leaving us not able to be seen for our full contributions. It also becomes a major obstacle in our growth process because we end up believing in sub-optimal ways of engaging the world. The benefit of knowing our Defense is recognizing when we are limiting ourselves. We also provide guidance as to Facades, which are the ways we have learned to hide our core Defense.
The Mini Creative Assessment is a great way to explore Compatibility Factors and how they impact us in our world. If you think you might be interested in a more comprehensive assessment, consider upgrading to a Full Creative Assessment for $50 more. This will include eight more Compatibility Factors, including the actualization levels of the Primary, Secondary and Mental Body expressions, and a full articulation of the Imprinting factors detailing how your parents have affected your self-perceptions. The added benefit of having this Full Creative Assessment is that it will have increased accuracy because you will provide additional photos of your parents and family portrait. From these additional photos, we will be able to compare and contrast your factors with your parents’ factors and validate the imprinting you received. This doubles the accuracy rate from 80% to 90%. Our goal is to complete all profiles within five business days.
